Question with regards to Breakfast~ Has anyone tried making Hash browns from sweet potatoes? And if so, how did they turn out? My daughter who LOVES her potatoes and now that she is positive for Lupus we are moving into Paleo AIP.
My thought is that I would like to attempt it (she actually like sweet potatoes too) but, they seem as though they would be a little tough to shred.

HELP! I am searching for recipes (nutrient dense, paleo is good AIP best) that will survive 2 weeks in extremes of cold and heat. I want to send them to a deployed person who only has access to very poor food choices, and a priority package takes 2 weeks to arrive. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

joyful, I wouldn't cook anything to be sent that far/long. Maybe you could send some Epic bars, jerky, coconut flakes, etc. instead? I just can't think of anything that would last. It stinks that we feed our soldiers garbage "foods"...but hopefully the situation is only temporary and they can do the best they can...then come home to heal. Good for you for trying to help! Sorry I don't have better ideas

joyful unless you have a pressure canner to put up some stews, broth, etc... but even then I'm not sure how those jars would fare in transit, especially with altitude changes?
