Hi everyone, Can someone please tell me the difference between a ketogenic diet and autoimmune protocol diet? I'm a little nervous im not eating enough carbs. And can anyone give me options for carbs on the aip diet besides fruit and sweet potato? Tia.

Hi Tia, I get most of my carbs from root veg - celeriac, carrot, parsnip, turnip, taro (great as crisps and tastes very similar to potato crisps) squash, yam and from plantain and chiccory root. Taro, yam, sweet potato and plantain are the highest in carbs according to the list in the back of the Paleo Approach. I make pancakes and crackers with the plantain. Hope that helps.
