I had been eating AIP for about 7 months, and then started introducing things. All was going well, and I did a Whole30 with my limited diet before a vacation, to tame my sweet tooth. I made good choices on vacation, and I felt really good, my hands were not puffy or sore, and I had plenty of energy. Just a few weeks later, I have puffy hands, and some soreness in joints, I have gained a few pounds, and I dont have as much energy, in spite of sleeping 7 or more hours every night. I have cut out a few things I had reintroduced, including cutting back on carbs, but it seems like nothing I am doing is helping. Does anyone have any ideas for me? This is like a "flare" of issues I thought were gone. I dont think I have any more stress than I did the last few months, and now the weather is good enough to go outside everyday and walk. Just when I was feeling so good, to start feeling ill again, when nothing has changed, is just rotten. What do I do now? Go back to strict AIP? My body will not sleep more than 8 hours, sometimes 7 is the maximum, so more sleep is not the answer. Doing yoga and walking are my only exercise, so not overdoing there, either. My biggest stress right now is feeling crummy!
