Just read The Paleo Approach and eliminated many items. In the years past I have eliminated gluten and night shades. But never at the same time. I have been gluten free for over year. I have noticed some difference but not a huge change. I was a strict Paleo dieter and never experienced any of the wonderful things other had such as better sleep, weight loss, gains in the gym. I was baffled. This book makes complete sense about why the Paleo diet didn't work for me.
I am joining this board to learn about recipes and also to have a support resource. I love food and the AIP is very difficult as it requires a lot of planning. I am good at planning except when I'm not. I also have a family to cook for who don't care for most green vegetables. After a hard day at work, hard evening at the stove, it's tough to see them not eat!
