Okay, I'll start. Who else watches this show? I'll admit I'm a little obsessed. Abby was here last year for auditions and a to teach a master class. I begged my daughter to go and try out, but she's afraid of Abby and did not want to go.

Hi Tamar. I used to watch this program occasionally, however not anymore, exactly. I watch my friend whose family IS this program, LOL! She and her husband have two kids that dance in the 'big studio' in our city. Oh my gosh, the scheduling, the drama amongst the studio people and within their own family because of all the studio obligations...My youngest is in Boy Scouts and all I can say when looking at their day-to-day is, "It's a Scouter's life for me!"

Ha ha! Something about it looks fun to me. Of course, that's easy to say when I'm not actually living that lifestyle.

I haven't seen it, but have heard "great" things about it. I can only imagine... My daughter is in ballet and sometimes I wonder about the ballet moms

I too am obsessed but not sure why. One minute I hate the moms and think they are awful. Then the next episode I hate Abby! I'm struggling with who is worse but still can't stop watching. What is wrong with me?

Ahh! I have cried the past few episodes about Abby's mom. The new team, wow! And now there is a break for a while, although there is reunion show next week. Do you listen to the recap podcast on Afterbuzz?

I have never watched this (and I don't think it is even aired in Canada!), but I can tell you that I am a Band mom - DD#2 is in 4 different bands - her junior high school concert band (plays flute), her school jazz band (plays sax), her school woodwind ensemble (plays flute) and the Calgary Roundup band (plays flute and/or piccolo as needed), and she is only 13 - it takes an amazing amount of dedication, not only on the part of the kids, but on the parents and even the whole family when a kid is dedicated to that kind of level - C, my 13 yr old is out 4 nights a week with a weekend camp every other weekend, a week long "H@ll-week" when they prep for performance season, regular performances, plus a week-long band tour, and that is just round up band. for her school bands, she gets a 3 day band tour, a weeklong band camp and regular practice sessions both in school and out. Roundup Band Tour this year alone is costing us over $3000! and then we have to do volunteer work (I just spent 5 hours in a bingo hall as a volunteer worker today to raise funds) But it is incredible how the kids develop and learn... I am sure these dance moms experience the same kind of development in their children.
