Hello, I've been doing the autoimmune paleo protocol since June 2014 (about seven months ago). I do not yet have a diagnosis, but I started AIP because I have digestive issues (possibly IBS or IBD), eczema, nausea, cystic acne, a slew of food intolerances, and a strong family history of autoimmune illness. I struggle with my moderate to severe acne. I have kept my head above water through the food and cooking aspects of the AIP. I know I need to be a part of this community in order to serve as an antidote for feeling misunderstood with my family and friends. I feel like the AIP has helped my digestive issues as well as eczema and nausea. I'd love to hear anyone's experiences that are similar. The emotional part of the AIP and illness is difficult.

It's great that you've seen improvements with your digestive issues and skin! I agree, the emotional aspects that come with the autoimmune protocol can be harder than the diet change itself. I hope that you find comfort in knowing you're not alone here!
