Hi, I started on the Paleo lifestyle about 6 weeks ago to support a friend that had done it in the past only to find out so much more about autoimmune and it's correlation. I bought Sarah's book and have been trying to read daily on info on the AIP due to suffering from Fibromyalgia for 15 years. I have lost 9#, not trying or a goal, along with decrease in migraines (1 in 6 weeks!!) compared to 4-8 a month, more energy, less pain, less use of ibuprofen and Tylenol. I am working up to removing nightshades and possibly eggs in hopes to be a new person!! Any suggestions to eliminate these recommended items is much appreciated.

Welcome! I started slowly, too. Basically, I started experimenting with a few swaps. For eggs, I needed to come up with new breakfast ideas, so i tried breakfasts soups, sausages, and leftovers until I found a couple a workable standards. It definitely took time before I was willing to go all the way and commit 100%. Good luck!

Like fractal said eggs mainly affected breakfasts for me. Eating leftovers, while not typical breakfast food is easiest. i also love bacon or sausage (especially with avocado!). Sweet potatoes (mashed, cooked like home fries, etc) are great for breakfast too. When baking/cooking you can sub things like bananas, gelatin, etc depending on what the eggs were for (binding,raising...) Look up vegan egg substitutes for ideas. As for nightshades, when do you normally eat them? for me it was mainly in pasta sauce (so that went with the pasta), ketchup (now i use avocado, cooked onions and or mushrooms or other sauces)and i normally ate peppers in salad or to add flavor while cooking so I just leave them out. I have seen folks using butternut squash cooked up as a tomato sub on grain free pizza or in stew. I haven't tried it myself tho.
