So I'm 3 weeks into AIP. I just found recipe to make my own sauerkraut. This recipe mentioned sugar which is a no no right now. I did come across a product from Body Ecology called Eco Bloom that replaces the "sugar" in making fermented foods. This product has chicory extract. Not seeing anywhere if chicory is OK or this is a no no. Anyone know by chance?

You may already know this but you can make delicious kraut with just salt and cabbage.
