I recently had a bone density scan which shows I have osteopenia. The good news is that since starting an autoimmune paleo diet, the rate towards osteopenia has slowed down, in comparison with the bone density scan I had the year previously. I've been walking 5 days a week for several months, and am up to around 1.5 to 2 miles daily. I drink 1 cup of bone broth a day, and of course eat lots of dark leafy greens. The nurse I spoke to recommended further supplementation with vitamin D3 (2000 IU daily), calcium (1200 mg daily), and magnesium (600 mg daily).
I already take a Vitamin D3 made by Jarrow, which is aip-compliant. Any recommendations for aip-compliant calcium and magnesium supplements?
