I made the Root Vegetable Biscuits from yuca From TPAC on page 328 and they came out quite dry so I added some water. Even so they did seem quite dry and did not rise? Has anybody else made them with yuca and have some tips on how to make the mash? Is the mash moist and do you add lots more water to the mash before putting it into the biscuit dough?

Hi - I have made the root vegetable biscuits several times now, but most of the time I have used Hannah sweet potatoes as the root vegetable. I have not figured out how to get them to rise yet. I've tried adding more baking soda, but so far, no success. They are still delicious though.
