Hiyas, I am having a lot of trouble eating grass fed liver. I am new to anything regarding jerky but I did buy a lamb and beef heart to try it out. (I'll just watch a youtube clip) BUT, can liver be turned into tasty jerky ? Thanks.

I wish I could help with the liver jerky question, but I tried making beef jerky with liver in it once and it was....not good. It might just have been the way I went about it, the method which I can't remember now. If you discover a good way, please come back and share it. Beef heart does work really well in jerky though. This is how I currently make it: (I started out getting may family used to heart jerky by using more beef than heart and then gradually the ratio has shifted to this---> 2.5 lbs gr heart, 1 lb gr beef, 1 T sea salt, 2 t liquid smoke, 2 T garlic powder, 1.5 T onion powder, 1/2 C coconut aminos. Mix all together and let 'marinate' for several hours. Then dehydrate.
