I also have Vitiligo. I'm also in wk 3 of AIP. My skin has never bothered me much, but I'm noticing other autoimmune signs, so I'm trying to heal. Curious to hear the answer to your question. Of course I would love to see my pigment come back as well.

i noticed my vitiligo stopped spreading at least. For some reason it seems to flare up when eat I some type of starch. Parsnips seem to be ok. Onions cause a flareup too. Cant really figure out why. Might be some kind of gut bacteria that feeds of the starch and something in the onions (prebiotics?) which cause a flareup. I used protonic, a cream for vitiligo. With a lot of sunlight and my vitiligo on my neck disappeared within a few months. Anyway, its not fun to test if foods cause an autoimmune flare when you have vitiligo Ive also noticed that I can get flare ups if i im out partying and go to bed at 5am for more than a week in a row (dont drink). Going to bed early and getting sleep seems to keep it in check too.

I have vitiligo too, and it's one of the reasons I started searching for causes of auto immune disease. Doing AIP, and being paleo has helped- I have not noticed any new spots, and some of my spots are somewhat filling in. The re-pigmentation has taken a long time, like more than a year, so patience is required. Just stick with it! I have read that skin issues take a long time to heal.
