My son is two years old and has always been pretty picky. I started on to paleo or primal way of eating when he was 1 1/2, and since then we are all gluten free at least but he eats rice and dairy. He does not eat meat, he eats tuna only in a rice dish. He doesn't really like eggs and is even inconsistent on eating paleo muffins. he had been eating way too much milk each day. So the other day we started with a new paediatrician, who told us to cut the milk to 2-3 cups a day and gave some advice on getting him to eat more foods. We also got an iron test and she called yesterday to say he is iron deficient. I wasn't home she talked to my husband, so I couldn't ask any questions, but she wants him on fer a sol supplements. Im not happy about the supplements they are full of additives, but will give them until I can talk to the doctor next week. but I guess my question is, what can I feed my picky son to get his iron up. We've already cut the dairy back a lot.
