I read somewhere that there are two Applegate Farms lunchmeat types that are AIP. I'm traveling this weekend to a conference. For lunch it will be unlikely that I can travel back to the hotel, so things that don't have to heated in a microwave are a must. I thought lunchmeat might be an easy choice. Does anyone remember which lunchmeat we can eat?

It looks like all of their turkey deli meat has carrageenan in it. But if you're okay with that (in moderation), they should be okay (watch for pepper if you don't eat it). The roast beef looks good, but also has pepper in it. Otherwise, the ham and chicken have sugars & nightshades in them, so avoid those. If you're going to have a refrigerator in your hotel room (or if you can bring a cooler or an insulated bag), you might consider making a batch of burger patties at home and bringing them with you. I wrap them in foil & eat them cold when I'm skiing or traveling (you could use a glass container-the foil just makes them super portable). As always, we do the best we can Good luck! Let us know how you survive

I reintroduced black pepper and was able to do the roast beef with no problem! It's definitely saved me in a pinch.

Thank you! I have some other things, but thought the lunchmeat would give variety. I just packed some beef heart jerky too.
