I can't tolerate fermented foods at this point so I need to get my probiotics in capsule form. Does anyone have any ideas for how I can keep them cool enough on a long overseas flight?

Good question. Can you contact the airline in advance to ask if they can keep the probiotics in a refrigerator during the flight? If you an bring a few ice packs, maybe they can keep them in a freezer for you during the flight? Surely airlines have had people ask about this for other medication that require refrigeration. Or something like breast milk, etc.

Thanks! That sounds like a good plan and I will check it out.

If that doesn't work out, you could try bringing a little insulated cooler pack and adding ice to it when you get to the airport (maybe ask for a cup of ice?).
