I was just diagnosed last week with Lyme Disease. My doctor is testing me for co-infections next and then I will have to meet with a Lyme Specialist to discuss treatment options.
It is really overwhelming and I would love to talk with people in the community that have Lyme and what you have done to try and get better.
Anybody out there?

Following. One of my tests is suggestive of Lyme (it's the CD57 test). I haven't actually tested for Lyme yet or looked for a Lyme specialist, but the results of that test for me were pretty concerning.

I used antibiotics. A friend used herbs, chiropractors, and energy medicine. Both of us are back to about 98% right now, but it has been a very frustrating path in different ways.

hello erika
a friend of mine cured herself and her husband from lymes. in her case it was manifesting as lichen sclerosus....which is what i've got.
she started off with a major detox and then went on to botanicals which i'm waiting for more info about. she has written a book which is coming out soon. I can certainly let you know when i get the info but in the mean time are you going gluten free etc?
thinking of you love space

Hi Erika, I have also been diagnosed with borrelia and one of it's co-infectors. I have been working with a holistic doctor (MD) to tackle the issue through a multi-faceted approach. The AIP diet has helped me tremendously with certain aspects of my issue (like brain fog and gut problems). I am happy to discuss specifics if you are interested. I have also recently found this website: lymelesslivemore.com/ that has been a good resource and has helped me feel connected to the lyme community. There are many small lifestyle changes that have had a large impact on my quality of life. For me, staying connected to others (I tend to be an introvert, especially when I'm not feeling well) and dealing with the mental aspect of the disease has been key.

I just got the results from my Western Blot back this week. Apparently, I'm CDC positive for lyme. I'm not sure what my next step will be. Right now, I'm trying to find an LLMD.
