So I've noticed not only with myself but with others when switching to paleo that body issues inside and out are popping up. For me, I swear I'm gaining weight! My belly is bigger, I'm totally uncomfortable, lots of gas here and there. TIM, I'm sure, but now my pads make me have an itchy vagina!
As I've said before, I'm switching from doing low carb to paleo and am eating much healthier now than then. No dairy, no grain, no processed, no legumes...now I'm not saying I'm 100% but seriously...
While doing low carb no gas, no bloat...
I'm doing this to be a healthier me and understand there is a process but I still need to lose weight...not because I need to be a size 6 because I need to feel comfortable...

It could be all part of the detoxification process. I do not know how long you have been paleo (are you also AIP?), but some people can take longer than others for all the toxins to leave...
Also, the gas/bloat could be due to you regaining a healthier gut biome (the bacteria and other micro-organisims that naturally live in our gut). They breakdown and digest the indigestible (sometimes called resistant) starch and fiber that we eat (mostly from fruits and veggies) and produce short-chain fatty acids that are incredibly beneficial to us, but in the same process they also produce gas - which can lead to bloating in the short term until everything has stabilized. Ultimately, what that will do is lead to an improved gut-flora, better digestion and overall improved health as well as healing a leaky gut.
Don't give up.... you will become healthier and loose weight long term. Sometimes you just have to give it time.

Well it's annoying! Hahaha... but makes sense. I just read an article about the starch resistance thing.... I'm not 100% nor AIP but am working towards it. It's little things I notice like our mayo at work has soy in it just haven't had time to make my own. It's little things like that that make me not 100%... and how do you know if you have a leaky gut exactly? I need to do more research on that...sometimes I feellike I try to do to many things and need to ffocus on over thing at a time.

I've read a little about that and keep forgetting to revisit it. Dang it! It just seems no matter what I eat I get affected which is weird because I didn't have gas for months on low carb... the veg and meat hasn't changed eating the same as far as that goes. Anyway, yes I think the FODMAP is something to consider.
