I love e3live and Ultimate Flora Critical Colon Care. If you are AIP, be wary of RAW brand; the bacteria is cultured on red bell pepper. I tried it and had multiple reactions. You may need to experiment to find a brand that works for you.

Our kids use Klaire brand powder. They take 50-100 billion a day.

Are the probiotic powders allowed on AIP? I thought they contained algae and other immune stimulaters......I would love to take Green Vibrance again. Sorry if this turns up twice.

I'm a huge fan of water kefir over supplements. The kefir 'grains' keep multiplying, so buying it once gives you an endless supply. It's loaded with probiotics and you can make fizzy fruit sodas with it.

Progressive HCP 70 appears to be working for me. I take one on days I don't consume any fermented foods.

Many people cannot take probiotic formulations containing acidophilus. Klaire Labs and Thorne Research both have two good probiotic formulas made without acidophilus.

I too have gastro distress with probiotics and fermented foods. How about a slow start with lactose free yogurt?

New question. I just read an article from that says if digestive enzymes are not Enteric coated, they are not going to help you. "Enzymes won’t do you any good at all if they’re dissolved in your stomach, so they need a special coating to get them through the stomach acid unscathed. This is called an enteric coating. Some people argue that you don’t need to get enteric-coated enzymes because the stomach is only acidic enough to destroy the enzymes right around a meal. But guess when the most effective time to take the enzymes is? Right around a meal! So yes, it really is worth the money to pay for the enteric coating." I am concerned that is why I haven't been getting better, any thoughts on this?
