This isn't AIP or Paleo. It is about me and about resting and about de-stressing so maybe it is.
We are going on vacation soon. I cannot wait to get to South Padre Island. I love the beach and the water and the sun and the seafood and the hot tub and the pool. (Is that too many "and"s?) I always come back rested, refreshed, and ready for another year of life.
Most of our meals will be home cooked in the condo. When we do go out, I will be sticking to Paleo since I have reintroduced soooo many foods. I don't plan on cheating since I hate pain and all my reactions come in the form of pain. A rash might be better (ha ha). I will report back about any menu items I find that are AIP/Paleo.
What is your favorite place to go to in Texas? Are there any favorite places to eat or things to do at South Padre?? Let me know.

Had a great trip. I did a lot of cooking but still went out one meal a day. I was excited that I had no reaction at all. I did stick pretty strictly to AIP/Paleo. I find that with time and experience, eating out gets easier. I've learned what to look for and what to ask and what to order and not order. Has fish at least one meal a day, sometimes twice. Loved the ocean, the hot tub, the pool, the condo. Hated coming back. ... love our own bed though!

Congrats, it sounds like a fun trip! I grew up on north Padre Island, and though I've never been to South Padre, I think they both share similarities - lots of great food, relaxing beaches, great sun.
