Anyone else on Humira? After two years, I still can't self-inject. Even though they sent a DVD and many, many documents explaining how to inject, I can't seem to be brave enough to do it (and I self injected with Lovenox and Heparin during the whole pregnancy with my third child).
Pro tip: use an ice pack to numb the skin for a few minutes before you inject. It still burns, but not as bad.

I took Humira for a while and hated that injection pen. Freaked me out every time.

I self inject B12 and hate it. I have to admit that I take it probably once every two months rather than once every two weeks .

I have the script for Humira on my fridge, but have got well on AIP + acupuncture + Chinese herbs! 2 weeks well now, after 6 months ill despite Remicade. Yay!
I used to self-inject methotrexate, which would make me overwhelmingly nauseous for half of every week. Eventually, when I started developing a needle phobia, my dr had to take me off it. Looking at a needle began to make me want to puke. Also a whiff of an alcohol swab.
Thinking that without that side effect, I'd prob do ok self-injecting. Hasn't the Humira pen won all kinds of awards for clever design?
