Yes, I will have to look for the dark chocolate at a specialty store. We live in Mexico but we are going on vacation in the U.S. next Saturday so I will get a chance to "stock up" on chocolate. :-)

I found a brand that does not contain soy and you can find pretty much anywhere (Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS). The Lindt Excellence brand 85% and 90% dark chocolate do not contain soy in the ingredients. It does say that it may contain traces of peanut/milk/soybean...probably because it is processed in a facility with those things. I also found two brands on Vitacost.com. One is called Altar Eco dark chocolate and Enjoy Life chocolate chips...this is the description for Altar Eco from Vitacost.com: Alter Eco Organic Dark Chocolate Blackout 85% Cocoa DescriptionOrganically Grown / Fairly Traded Bittersweet Cocoa Deep Fruity Intensity USDA Organic Fair Trade Certified™ Taste of Ecuador Alter Eco chocolate is a delicious indulgence that makes an extra-ordinary journey. Plucked from organic trees near the Ecuadorian coast, our cacao beans are fermented, dried and brought to Switzerland, where they are meticulously roasted and conched into some of the world's finest cocoa products. Our expert chocolatiers use unique flavor combinations, quality organic ingredients and an artisan's touch to craft these award-winning, habit-forming bars. Nourishing Foodie, Farmer and Field As committed food activists, we travel far and wide to bring you the world's most exotic, delicious, and sustainable foods. The stories from our cacao partners, Fortaleza and Acopagro, never cease to inspire. Look inside this box to read about the journey of farmers who gave up illegal coca for prosperous cacao - and reforested the Amazon in the process. Free Of Soy, gluten, GMO, artificial flavors and emulsifiers.Disclaimer These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. When I first went on the AIP diet, I went on a hunt for soy free chocolate. I have tried all three and I would have to say the Alter Eco brand was my favorite!

Unfortunately my favorite chocolate is not available in north America at all (I am Aussie) but here is a link if any budding importers are on this forum www.panachocolate.com/P.S Goji berries are nightshades so don't get the Coconut and Goji flavour. The Rose flavour has "maca" in it, which is a crucifer root (related to turnips and swedes which are allowed) but is not specifically listed in the food list from the Paleo approach, and is traditionally only eaten once cooked as it is hard to digest raw, not sure if the powder in these chocolates is cooked as they are "raw chocolates" so it might be worth avoiding. And of course the nut flavour is to be avoided depending on where you are up to with re-introductions, as it has 5 types of nuts including cashews in it. (I am assuming everyone looking to buy chocolate is on re-introductions or perhaps building up to compliance)

How awesome to be getting off medications! I used to take 17 pills every single day, and now I take none. It's amazing.
