Does anyone shop at Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage? For some reason, I've only been there once (but I found what I couldn't find in any other store, which was great). Are the prices good? Do they have Paleo-friendly foods?

We just got a Natural Grocers. I've been there a few times and they have some great paleo foods! Their prices are a but less than Whole Foods and much less than our local natural foods store. I am going to start shopping there more.

Hi there! TOTAL newbie. I live right next to a Natural Grocers store, and my impression is that it's quite Paleo-friendly. Their selection of humanely-raised meat is impressive. The poultry at my local one looks a little sad, however. Also, not too much of a selection for fish. Otherwise, I think it's awesome.
They also sell Epic bars there ^__^
Hope this helps!

I'm in Longmont and have been to the Natural Grocers on Main St. quite a few times. They do have some products I couldn't find in other places. In fact the last time I was in there I spent 45 minutes just looking around and reading labels for things I could buy!

I shop at my local Natural Grocers regularly. They're always willing to special order something if I give them the name of the item and the brand. I saw that mine carried Paleo wraps (although I don't know if they're AIP).

I've been hearing great things about this place. Supposedly a more affordable Whole Foods? They aren't really on the west coast yet. Any of these alternative stores usually love to hear what customers want so just ask them to start carrying stuff you want!
