Hey all! Whether you hail from the Evergreen State like me or you are simply planning a visit, I thought it'd be helpful to start a thread sharing paleo-friendly resources and locations in Washington.
Note: this is a generic paleo-friendly list, those of us still in the stages of the Autoimmune Protocol will likely have a few more challenges and modifications to consider while eating out.
Butchery:
Bill the Butcher - Local grassfed pasture raised meats, hormone free, steroid free and GM feed free. Local raw milk and pastured eggs. Their "house bacon" is actually a paleo {sugar-free} bacon - but it is not AIP friendly {there are several spices used in the mix that aren't allowed during the initial stages of the protocol - I checked with our butcher haha!} They have many locations including: Edmonds, Laurelhurst, Magnolia, Redmond, Wallingford, Woodinville. Open 12-7pm daily.
Paleo Food Truck:
Outside The Box - Locations vary depending on the day and they offer meal delivery.
Eateries:
Local 360 - On 1st and Bell in Seattle; locally sourced food with clearly marked GF menu items, so should be easy for paleo subs. I'm a little excited to say I used to work with the photographer for their site and just realized it while putting this post together. He was the regional manager of the restaurant I worked at - such a nice guy. It's a small world!
Uneeda Burger - Fremont; Grassfed local burger joint.
Lola - On 4th in Seattle; Mediterannian food. It should be easy to make paleo modifications.
Etta's - Pike Place Market; a seafood paleo lovers' dream.
The Boardroom Cafe - near 85th on Aurora in Seattle; according to comments on Yelp, they offer a paleo breakfast bowl
Mashiko - on California SW in Seattle Sustainable Sushi Bar. Bring in coconut aminos for your Sashimi - they have both fresh ground wasabi and imitation wasabi {the powdered mix made with Chinese mustard powder - not AIP safe}.

Markets:
PCC {Puget Consumers Co-op} - I prefer this co-op to Whole Foods Market personally. Locations in Edmonds, Fremont, Greenlake Aurora, Greenlake Village, Issaquah, Kirkland, Redmond, Seward Park, View Ridge, West Seattle. Some locations {like Edmonds} carry local duck eggs, but they sell out within a few hours of stocking.
Sno-Isle Food Co-op - Located on Grand Avenue in north Everett.
Whole Foods Market - Locations in Lynnwood, Seattle: Roosevelt Square, Interbay, South Lake Union, Redmond, Bellevue, Vancouver
Central Market - Locations in Shoreline, Poulsbo, and Mill Creek.
CSA:
Chinook Farms - Along with a CSA farm share program, they also offer grassfed/finished beef available by the quarter, 1/2, or whole. This is the farm we bought our half steer through. They also welcome farm tours for those interested before buying the beef! You can read my experience with them in this post: Where Does Your Beef Come From?. I highly recommend them
Full Circle - Organic produce delivered to your door weekly, with the ability to swap items out {which is *so* nice for those following autoimmune protocol}!
New Roots Organics - With a variety of seasonal bin options {love to juice, standard fruit, standard veggie, etc.} organic produce delivered weekly to your door.
Eat Wild:
Here is the full Eat Wild - Washington page. Full of farms and ranches that provide grassfed meat, eggs and dairy products!
If I find any others I'll edit my post. But if you have any to add, feel free to comment with your paleo-friendly gems! <3
