Hello to everyone, Since 2004 I have uveitis that repeat every 2-4 months. No reason except gene HLA B27 was found. According to Western medicine nothing can be done and I have to put drops every time I have it. I did not like the idea at all and that nobody tries to give more explanation or to look for deeper reason, so was checking other possible "prednisolone-free" solutions, tried different diets. Finally when I started to read about AIP many question that I always had were responded!! I always had a week digestion and did not imagine that it could be related. I had colonoscopy and other tests and I was told that I am super healthy and should not look for ilnesses and that it cannot be realted anyhow to my eyes. SO of course I decided to gice a try to AIP! I am no on strict AIP since the end of January, and I know that I cannot expect total recovery in 2 months. Digestion is better now and I feel as good as never before + I have the same weight now as when I as 18. What worries me is that if I eat something "wrong" accidentally the reaction now is so strong!! Before probably I wouldn't have even noticed any symptoms at all. And unfortunately I am having another uveitis My doctor says that the inflammation is weeker than before but the way I feel it is totally different and worse - the eye is so red and it hurts much more than before AIP. Does my situation sound familiar to anybody? Or can somebody comment on it?? Would be very grateful for any feedback. Thanks! Rita
