Places I like include: Victoria - Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) from Jeff Jones fruit store in Bacchus Marsh - a measly $4.80 for a 2L glass bottle and u can refill said bottle for $3.
I use this mixed with water as conditioner (after shampooing with dr bronners castille soap as solid soaps leave a residue in my hair no matter how long i rinse for) then i do a rinse with orange blossom water (from the middle eastern grocers) mixed with water to finish off.
- Urthly organics, mostly at markets in central Victoria www.facebook.com/UrthlyOrganics/ love the lemongrass thyme deodorant (made with love, sodium bicarbonate, organic beeswax, cocoa butter, essential oils and vit.d) it does bleach your pit hair a bit, but smells lovely.
- Queen bee handmade soaps www.queenbeehandmade.com.au/shop/index.php love the ylang ylang orange and the cinnamon, clove and blood orange yummo. A bit soft (because it is olive oil which tends to be a softer soap) so I alternate the soap every 2nd day so it dries in between uses. Also stock natural brushes and pumice, and did a mean garden twine at last years sheep and wool show in Bendigo.
Tasmania - Beauty and the bees www.beebeauty.com.au/ soaps (eg. bamboo charcoal and licorice), shampoo bars, moisturisers, even beard care products (for the hipsters)
Any other suggestions from fellow Ausies? Perhaps some other states....
