Hello! I've been totally gluten-free since April--love all things Latino--and DO wish I could enjoy a tortilla once in a while. Has anyone tried AIP recipes for pita bread, tortillas or pumpkin spice bread on hewontknowitspaleo.com? How did they turn out? Were they relatively easy to make following the recipes? Thanks!!

I was gluten free for a year, about 8 yrs ago. i think there are recipes out there that are OK, but I have, unfortunately, never found anything as good as wheat flour. I do like gluten-free oat flour, though. I made my own from certified Gluten Free Oats from Gluten Freeda. Some people can't tolerate oats. Just try some recipes and see how you like them. I wouldn't buy a large or expensive quatity of anything, until your sure you like it.
I used to get recipes from a blog, which I believe was called Healthy Indulgences. She had great gluten free recipes, especially in the sweets department. My weakness! I'm avoiding all grains right now, though.
