Hi guys! I have been buying my Great Lakes Collagen Hydrolysate and Beef Gelatin from iherb.com, but today when I went to order it they have this message up:
"Due to regulations, this product is not allowed to be shipped to the country you selected."
Noooo!! Disaster! I'm gutted!!
Can anyone recommend other places to get Great Lakes? I have found it on rachelsorganics.com (Australian site), but both the products and shipping are pricier.

FYI, I contacted iherb to ask about it, and got this reply:
"We do apologize for the inconvenience and we understand your frustration, unfortunately we do not ship that product to your country. The issue is not that the product is banned and not sold in your county.
Instead the product is restricted and will require governmental certifications that we are unable to provide. This is a huge issue for us because we do want to sell the product, but because of the large number of manufactures we deal with, it is unmanageable for us to provide the required documentation, for us to export every product we would like to. I believe that the issue has to do with the manufacturer's label, which indirectly states that the collagen may be derived from skin which is what causes it to be flagged. Which from what I remember and from what I can ascertain from the Australian website, Collagen derived from Hides does require a permit whether for personal or commercial use. I could be totally wrong about this therefore I would be happy to research the issue further from my Senior Agent

When I asked if they expect to restart delivering it to Australia any time soon, they replied:
"I hope so. Based on my experience ,some products that are banned were able to ship after a few months. However, I can't determine when will it happen."
