Hi All,
I have been listening to all the summits and sessions as I am sure many of you have too. I remember one Dr. talking about having an active mind, not being able to shut it down or control your thoughts especially at night saying that it may possibly a lack of something in the body. does anyone else remember what that is? I have a terrible time controlling my racing thoughts and "monkey mind" any suggestions would help, especially at night. I have already tried the writing stuff down before getting into bed but if lacking a certain vitamin or nutrient I would like to know.
Secondly, I have been detoxing for about 4 months now and suddenly I started having body aches that lasts sometimes all day. If it occurs at night it keeps me from sleeping and I already have enough sleeping issues. I do not have a virus, any suggestions. I have stopped all supplements for the time being to give my body a break which has helped but not completely gone away yet. Thanks for any input.

I don't remember that particular part...that summit was slightly overwhelming But a quick search found this: "Deficiencies of vitamins (B vitamins, vitamins C, D, and E) or minerals (calcium, iodine, iron, magnesium, selenium, and zinc) impair cognitive function." So make sure you're eating a varied diet to try to get all the nutrients you need. Add in some foods you haven't yet tried (organ meats?) and see how you feel. What do you mean by "detoxing"? Are you on AIP? Are body aches/muscle issues part of your autoimmune condition? Assuming you're Paleo or AIP, body aches can be part of the diet shift. I would make sure you're eating enough carbs (ever heard of "carb flu"?). Take another look at your daily foods and make sure you're eating a variety of nutrient-dense healing foods-and enough healthy carbs for your body. You might need to experiment with more...or less. Everyone is different.
