Anyone have the same autoimmune condition as me? I am still on a lot of meds for it and looking to see if I should give the AIP a try! Thanks for any help!!

Sorry, no, but I do have an autoimmune skin condition (or two). Even while on your meds, you can see benefits from AIP. Many people find amazing results just by cleaning up their diets. But sometimes it takes time. Lots of time. And tinkering with supplemental foods (or supplements) to see what works for you. But if you can change your diet and find enough relief to get you off some of the nasty meds...it's worth it (in my opinion) Good luck!

Hi Lindsey, I think I have the same as you. I was not officially told I have autoimmune uticaria, I am autoimmune with hashimoto thyroiditis, psoriasis and chronic hives. Have had hives for the past 2 ½ years, and once I figured that it could be food related that changed everything. Have virtually no hives, no psoriasis and not sure of the hashimoto thyroiditis -- will need blood work to confirm status. I feel very good. Have eliminated most of the foods listed in Paleo approach on my own and tweaked my food according to what I have been learning. However, my greatest relief began when I started probiotics. Praise to God for them, I have been improving ever since. I am always looking to understand what is going on in my body and Sarah’s book, the Paleo Approach is incredible. It is exhaustive and packed with tons of information. I have some external toxins, like mold, that is a thorn in my side - but have an excellent air purifier that helps tremendously. I was using a few prescriptions of steroids, but stopped because they were not even helping and I did not want to increase the strength. I have not used any meds for several months. My goal is to put on some weight, and get back to working out everyday! Follow this protocol, it will change how you feel!!!
