Soo, i was reading somewhere that csection babies have a hard time colonizing the good gut bacteria; i am looking into infant probiotics, does anyone have experience w this?

Great question! I just searched thepaleomom.com for some ideas, but I couldn't find anything. Then I went to ChrisKresser.com and found an infant probiotic he recommends: www.amazon.com/dp/B001PYXMV4/?tag=chrikres-20It doesn't look like it is available on Amazon but you might be able to Google where else you can buy it. I hope that helps!

Both of mine were csections and had pretty bad yeast overgrowth. We are under the care of a functional health practitioner. At the practice, we get Metegenics Balance...it is either 15 or 20 billion. My 14 month old takes it twice a day. I was giving him an actual probiotic sold for babies called Baby Flora...and it was only 4 billion...not near enough! www.vitacost.com/metagenics-ultra-flora-plus-balance

It is true that if mom is taking probiotics the baby is benefiting from that when nursing! I don't know if this is the reason why my daughter has barely been sick (knock on wood) and she is 8 months old - full time at daycare. I've been taking a probiotic every day since I was pregnant.
