help! i have a staph infection in my nose and on my upper lip. probably because i'm immunosuppressed by crohn's medication (6mp) but this has never happened before in 20 years of immunosuppression.
i've been prescribed and am using an antibiotic ointment and am desperate to avoid oral antibiotics.
any suggestions for what i can do to maximise chances of the topical antibiotics resolving it?

I don't know anything about staph but I have used a few things to take the place of antibiotics. I have no idea if any of this would work on staph. I have put colloidal silver in a mister bottle and sprayed it up my nose for sinus issues. Sinuses clear themselves every 15 minutes so that is how often I sprayed it. Got pretty exhausted- did it for 8 hours for 3 days and then quit. Kept the problem at bay. Also have used 2 capsules of cayenne with 2 capsules of garlic 3-4 times a day for infection for 10 days. Used the 100,000 heat cayenne. The 40,000 is not strong enough. This sure has gotten rid of a lot of different infections. Also using food grade hydrgen peroxide, diluted by drops into a full glass of water can work on infections. At higher doses it is like drinking-bleach-taste so it can be hard to get down. Lower doseages aren't too bad. It doesn't hurt you, properly diluted. But I've never had staph and have no idea if any of this would work on it. It's all pretty cheap to try and avoids the antibiotics.
