I'm looking at buying online paleo staples, coconut oil, almond flour, coconut flour, that sort of thing that is harder to buy in shops here.
Where have you found to be the best place for bulk orders?
I'm looking at a few NZ coconut oil companies, but none have EVERYTHING I want. Also, if I ordered from an overseas company, is there anything I can't get through customs?

i use iherb, and it is significantly cheaper than local shops bc you don't pay import tax or gst. many items are half the price. savings are best on light items, like some supplements, or packets of seaweed, bc shipping is us$1/pound (500g).
still, i buy kelp & shirataki noodles, big packs of nori, chocolate for the rest of my family, coconut aminos & butter etc
i buy coconut products from an oz website- will find link. not sure if/how much shipping to nz would be.

i order aclara coconut products from gourmetsuperfoods.com.au - couldn't find shipping info on the site, you'd have to email them.
banaban (naturepacific.com) ship to nz but shipping is quite expensive- maybe worth it if you make a big order?
oz customs has never looked in my iherb orders.
vitacost.com is another us store similar to iherb.

Thanks for that, I had a look at iherb, but it actually didn't work out much cheaper for the items I wanted (maybe it was a weight issue?) I agree, the shipping is the killer.

I use a combination of Eternal Delight (Christchurch based)http://www.eternaldelight.co.nz/ and Life foods lifefoods.co.nz/super-foods.html/ I also buy Coconut oil from BLue Coconut www.discovercoconut.co.nz/ which although it possibly isn't the best on the market it is within my price range for the amount we use. Almond flour I get from the local Indian shop and Coconut flour etc from Ceres in Ellerslie.

Unfortunately there is not one place to get everything we need here in nz. I use trademe for my coconut oil, healthpost for raw cacao, i don't buy almond flour, I just buy almonds and grind them myself, it's not so fine as you buy, but perfect for making bread and biscuits
