I need ideas for breakfast but no egg because of sensitivity. Other than ham, I am just drawing a blank.

homemade sausage patties - it can be as simple as taking some ground pork or beef and adding a bunch of herbs/AIP spices to it. I usually eat a sausage patty with some sauerkraut and bone broth. salixisme.wordpress.com/2014/01/09/aip-pork-sausage-or-what-i-eat-for-breakfast/You could also try smoothies. Or what about leftovers? Who says you have to eat "Breakfast foods" at breakfast. I know of plenty of non-AIP people who would not think it strange to eat the leftover takeaway curry or pizza that they had the night before for breakfast, so have soups, stews or whatever you had the night before. Maybe even cook extra so that you do have leftovers.

I love breakfast, it's my favourite meal of the whole day - for me, anything goes. I was chatting with a friend who asked me what I ate for breakfast and I told him soup - he couldn't believe it! Here are some of my favourite breakfasts: minced meat hash with red onion, grated veggies and avocado; smoothies made with coconut milk, a frozen banana and berries; chicken broth with leftover roast chicken, spring onions and ginger; bacon and avocado. Basically avocado has become my egg substitute (I react badly to egg whites but can tolerate the odd egg yolk as a treat). I also eat any leftovers heated up from the night before (sometimes I feel like I'm eating a roast dinner for breakfast!). I recently compiled this roundup of AIP breakfast ideas: comfortbites.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/29-aip-auto-immune-protocol-paleo.html - I hope it helps.
