I listen to youtube videos a lot at work...been listening to ones by growingyourgreens.com and he preaches about rock dust quite a bit. It is great for remineralizing the soil and making the plants grow better/stronger/more pest resistant and making the food more nutritious. Problem can be: finding the stuff! Not everyone is able to find it local to them and mail order can run from $50 and up (Including shipping). My solution: TrophyRock Four65 mineral supplement for deer! It is essentially the dust left from making mineral blocks (rocks) for hunters to set out for the deer (makes for bigger "racks"). Yes, in my state, hunters can set out food and mineral blocks for the deer. This product is available at the Tractor Supply a few towns over. A friend at church lives in that town and is going to buy me a 30lb bag today. Cost with delivery/service fee? $15. So, if you can't find Azomite or other similar products sold for garden supplementation...get creative and see if there is another product that will do as well!
