Hey all, Since I have been reading about all the chemicals, including obesogens in personal care products like shampoo, soap etc I am trying to use more natural products. There has been talk on the 'no poo' method from the US. Does anyone have any Aussie brands or online shops you would recommend?

Hi Marce, I like Sukin skincare products and body wash, although I don't like their shampoo (it's not moisturising enough for me). I also like Natural Instinct body wash and body lotion.

check out www.beebeauty.com/ they are created by a lady who's child had very bad eczema, I use the soaps (the bamboo charcoal is fantastic) and moisturisers, but not the "shampoo soap" as I find it leaves a white residue in my hair, perhaps I just need to rinse better, but unlike banannable I am happy with sukin shampoo. Beauty and the bees also do clay masks, and tasmanian tiger balm

I've actually started making my own products, mainly using recipes from wellnessmama.com (like victoriap mentioned above). Does anyone have a good website for buying raw ingredients, such as shea butter and beeswax etc.?

...As for remade products, lately I have been using Meditree and I like it a lot. I have acne so I use their tea tree products, but they have other 'flavours' as well (e.g. kakadu plum). I get it from Go Vita health food shops.
