Anyone from Southern California? It would be nice to share resources and I'd certainly love to know if anyone has a healthcare provider they love! I'm in Orange County.

Hi! I'm in LA! What type of healthcare provider are you interested in? I don't get down to Orange County often, but I'm connected to people there through the National Psoriasis Foundation.

My husband found Dr. Peter Kim, MD in Costa Mesa. I am planning to call him and go in for a consultation. His bio includes the following info: He follows a Paleo-based diet, and regularly does kettlebell, running, rowing, Prasara yoga, and bodyweight strength training. He is the former medical director for Vanguard University's athletic training program, served as a team physician for U.S. Judo. If you call him before me, post back what you think. Thanks

I'm further north of you in the East Los Angeles area. I found a naturopath for my husband by going on paleophysiciansnetwork.com/ and primaldocs.com/She's been amazingly helpful, and what's great about finding someone through those sites means she doesn't argue with how my husband and I eat.

Hi there.. I am in Riverside, Ca. and have a couple of friends who are "Paleo Friendly".. It is always nice to have people around you who are following the same regimens that you are. My daughter's Dr continues to remind us of the importance of "fresh" fruits and veggies. Which I am well aware of being as I was raised in a "farming" friendly family who ate produce straight out of the garden or off the tree on a daily basis. However, now that we are having to follow the AI Protocol there are a lot of fruits and veggies that we are cutting out. This is where we are running into conflict with my girls. So far, I have found (and we are SUPER NEW to Paleo) that handing the cookbooks to the kids and allowing them to choose new recipes is going to "save" us.
