Hi everybody! I'm looking for a bread replacement for my Leam (my baby boy). It is quite common to give children bread to chew on but since we stopped eating it, so is he (of course). That is why I'm looking for an alternative. Sometimes I'm in a public space in witch breastfeeding isn't allowed or appreciated. It's very easy to give him something bread-like to stall. Or whenever I'm eating to be able to give him something to eat as well because he can't always try the things I'm eating (yet). It is often to salty/spicy. Do you have any great idea's? My apologies for my most likely terrible grammar. I rarely speak or write English, that's my excuse .

Hi! There are great bread and muffin recipes on thepaleomom.com. I love her muffins - and my kids do too. She even has muffin recipes with veggies mixed in:).
I've tried Paleo breads from Whole Foods. They are good but a word of caution - some are dense and hard for kids to eat. My daughter choked really bad on a piece and I haven't gotten it again.
Sarah has a ton of great recipes that are easy to make (and even freeze so you can always have them on hand).

My apologies for my most likely terrible grammar. I rarely speak or write English, that's my excuse . Since you may not have introduced nuts to your baby yet, here are Sarah's nut free baked good recipes: www.thepaleomom.com/category/recipes/paleo-baked-goods/nut-free-baking (I'm not sure if you introduced eggs yet. Some of these recipes may have eggs, you'll need to check each recipe) Maybe the plantain crackers, but those may be too hard. If you are not super strict "grain free", there are many quality gluten free cereals that may be a good option for when you don't have time to make something yourself. I don't know about the food brands in the Netherlands, so I don't know what to recommend. Here is the Europe board if you'd like to connect with others in that part of the world: thepaleomomcommunity.com/board/23/europe
