Hi everybody, I have a question about cerevisiae yeast and kefir. According to an IGG ELISA allergy test, I'm allergic to cerevisiae yeast. I've been experimenting with making my own water and milk kefir. I've been doing so because I keep reading that fermented foods are good for people with allergies. (I have many food and environmental allergies.) I recently learned that cerevisiae yeast is in both types of kefir. My gut is pretty touchy but I don't feel like I have obvious symptoms from the kefir. I do have a rash on both arms that I'm suspicious might be a yeast infection. (I've had some on my shoulders for years.) I'm wondering if the kefir is actually going to make my symptoms worse not better due to the yeast. What do you all think?
