Toss together:
1 cup finely shredded red cabbage 2 cups tatsoi or baby spinach leaves 2 Lebanese or 1 green cucumber 1/2ed lengthwise and finely sliced 3 spring onions finely sliced 1/4 cup coriander leaves (cilantro) chopped 1/4 cup thai basil laves chopped
Marinade steak by blending herbs and alliums with fish sauce, then fry, and then slice into thin strips, allow to cool a bit before adding to salad:
400-500g steak (i used rump) 2 kafir lime leaves 2 lemongrass stems 2 french shallots 2 cloves garlic 1 tbsp fish sauce (check ingredients red boat brand is good)
Toss in a dressing of:
1 tbsp fish sauce 3 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp lemon or lime juice
