Who knows. I've seen numerous doctors over the years and not one has been able to help me figure any of it out. So I self-diagnosed and am hoping I'm heading in the right direction. I'm more concerned about the anxiety and depression, as my IB and hypoglycemia are well managed on a Paleo diet with little to no fruit. I started Paleo two years ago after I noticed a decrease in the severity of my anxiety attacks and sugar crashes when I stopped eating grain. But the anxiety has crept back, so I'm wondering if anything in my gut is reacting. I'm going to do AIP and then reintroduce. We'll see if it gets better.
Has anyone heard of anyone doing AIP for anxiety? Any good results? It's the end of Day 1 and I've had a couple of minor sugar crashes (I dislike eating so much meat, and nuts were always my go-to) and I had a food coma after dinner (waited 5 hrs and ate heavy spaghetti squash).
Any help would be appreciated.
