I eat 3 meals a day and all the organic and grassfed meat is really starting to add up, especially since I am on disability. I was wondering if it would be feasible to go 1 x meat, 1 x fish, 1 x veggie per day? Everything is organic/wild caught/grassfed/whathaveyou . Any thoughts?

Hello! I've considered the same thing myself but I always come back to how do I stay full from a meal with very little protein? With only veggies it would be hard to get enough calories to stay full. I've heard Sarah and others say that while grass-fed and pastured is better, just do the best you can within your budget. What types of vegetarian meals were you considering? I'd love to hear your ideas.

Well I don't have any particular meals in mind but I have done it for a while and I always left the veggie meal for the evenings. I tried to alyways include some kind of tuber and I tried to focus on the most protein dense vegetables (good place to start: www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/vegetables-high-in-protein.php). And while it's true that you don't stay full as long as on a meat/sea food meal, because it's dinner it didn't really matter that much to me. I was used to having a snack in the evening anyway to try to gain some weight back. Of course I'm not sure if it impeded with my healing or not. I'd love to have someone with some "authority" (like Sarah or an assistant) weigh in on this, but that seems to be impossible, as usual. Either it's like: here is a forum we won't check or maintain where you guys can try to figure things out amongst yourselves. Or it's: oh sure we would love to answer your questions, here are our consultation fees...
